Sander Ruitenberg is the Global Digital Health Solutions Head for Immunology, Hepatology & Dermatology at Novartis, responsible for creating digital solutions within connected health and customer engagement ecosystems, using new technologies to better address audience needs and preferences. Sander has a Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Since joining Novartis as Global Brand Director in 2013, Sander worked on improving care for people with chronic urticaria, initiated the ‘Skin to Live in’ social media program in dermatology, and introduced several chatbots to provide personalized access to information and services. His current focus is on finding new ways to connect digital and non-digital channels in to an integrated customer experience.

Sander has a Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
